We do not usually visit properties to give quotes, preferring to estimate from the information you provide on our quote page, it has been tailored to get a good idea of your requirements.
You can also submit a video of your property, please also include audio of what exactly you want moved, it is also helpful to fill out a quote form as well.
For long distance moves our own return journey is also part of chargeable hours. We can usually give a £10 per hour reduction on long distance moves, or we can give fixed quotes, as we understand the need for a firm price rather than running the risk of hours mounting up due to traffic or other possible delays.
Single item collections – minimum of 1 hour.
Studio/room moves – minimum of 2 hours
Flat/house moves – Minimum of 3 hours, or 4 hours where 3 men are used. 6 hour minimum where 2 vans and 3/4 men are used.

A deposit of 2 hours or 1 hour for smaller jobs is required to reserve a moving date/time. Once the deposit is paid, we do not offer that date/time to another customer. If that booking is then cancelled at any time thereafter, then we reserve the right to keep the deposit, as we may well have lost work as a result. We understand this is often not the fault of the customer, so we try our best to be understanding, and we will return the deposit if we manage to fill the cancelled date/time slot. In all cases a cancellation charge of £25 is payable, if the job is not rebooked (i.e. we cannot fulfill a date change).
